Dorri Halbertal is a Lead Quantum Scientist at QEDMA Quantum Computing, currently pursuing a Master of Science in Physics at The Hebrew University. They previously served as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia University from 2018 to 2022, where they were a Simons Junior Fellow and Rothschild Fellow, focusing on the study of 2D materials under the guidance of Prof. Dmitri Basov. Dorri earned a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science and holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from The Hebrew University. Prior to their academic career, they were the Chief Physics and R&D Officer at IDF, overseeing technological teams and product requirements.
