Santi Sempere Llagostera

Santi Sempere Llagostera is a lead scientist specializing in quantum photon sources at ORCA Computing since May 2022, following experience as a quantum optics scientist. Prior roles include a data analyst position at Tiendeo where automation of data treatment processes using Python and Spark was a key responsibility, along with optimization of advertising structures. Additionally, Santi has worked as a student researcher at the Institut de Bioenginyeria de Catalunya, focusing on the mechanical properties of cancer cells, and briefly as a driver at the MWC 2015. Academically, Santi holds a PhD in Quantum Optics from Imperial College London and has completed a visiting PhD at the University of Oxford. The educational background also includes a Master's degree in Quantum Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, alongside a degree in Physics Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
