Software Engineer

Tae-Soo Kim has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Tae-Soo started their career at VK MOBILE LIMITED in 2002, where they worked as a Software Engineer and contributed to the development of the company's 1st MP3 phone projects. From 2005 to 2007, they worked at Pantech Wireless, Inc. as a Software Engineer, specializing in UMTS mobile software engineering. In this role, they were responsible for porting different software platforms onto Qualcomm chips and customizing Qualcomm WMS/NV for SMS/MMS functionalities.

In 2007, Tae-Soo joined KTTEC as a Software Engineer, where they worked until 2010. Tae-Soo then joined InvenSense as a Senior FAE and Senior Application Engineer. At InvenSense, they led various customer projects, including the development and enhancement of sensor fusion for Samsung. Tae-Soo also worked on implementing sensor network algorithms and won an award of excellence for their contributions.

Tae-Soo'snext role was at STMicroelectronics, where they worked from 2014 to 2019 as a Field Application Engineer & Section Manager. During their time at STMicroelectronics, they provided technical support to Samsung Mobile for various Galaxy models and was responsible for design wins in MEMS 6 axis. Tae-Soo also supported the SW team with Linux kernel device drivers, embedded programming, and sensor algorithms.

Most recently, Tae-Soo worked at TDK Qeexo as a Software Engineer. Tae-Soo designed an AutoML SDK for a microcontroller unit (MCU) platform, integrating multi-sensors with variable ODRs and running AI algorithms.

Overall, Tae-Soo Kim has a strong background in software engineering with a focus on sensor fusion, MEMS, MCU drivers, and embedded programming.

Tae-Soo Kim earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering from Myongji University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Tae-Soo then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, at Myongji University from 1998 to 1999.
