Rick Schmitt

Rick Schmitt is an accomplished sales and marketing executive with extensive experience in the energy and utility sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at QEI, LLC since January 2024, Rick previously held roles such as Enterprise Sales Executive at Virtual Peaker and Vice President at Nighthawk, where significant success was achieved in driving sales and marketing strategies for Automated Meter Infrastructure solutions. With a strong track record, Rick has promoted organizational growth, increased sales pipelines substantially, and led various initiatives across multiple companies, including OATI and Aclara, during critical stages of their development. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from the University of Baltimore's Merrick School of Business and a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
