Johannes von Einem

Johannes von Einem has extensive experience in the renewable energy industry. Their most recent position is as the Head of Investment Banking at Q Energy, where they focus on investments into platforms and corporate mergers and acquisitions, with a particular emphasis on solar, storage, on- and offshore wind, and hydrogen. Prior to this, they co-founded SolarX SRL, a company dedicated to developing large-scale solar projects in Italy. Johannes also has experience in advisory finance and served as an interim CFO for various companies. Earlier in their career, they co-founded Mitte, a company that builds innovative water consumption devices, where they were responsible for leading the operations, finance, and HR teams. Johannes worked as a partner at C4C Energy, managing PV solar project transactions, and served as a turnaround manager and head of commercial at Gasser Holding AG, where they led teams in sales, after-sales, marketing, and product management. Johannes has also held senior positions at Trina Solar, Bankhaus v.d. Heydt, Gehrlicher Solar, and Ricardo AEA PLC, gaining experience in project management, M&A advisory, project finance, and economic consulting in the energy sector.

Johannes von Einem studied Volkswirtschaft at Humboldt University, Berlin from 1999 to 2005, earning a Diplom degree. From 2005 to 2007, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to study Economic History / Economics.
