Pedro Araújo

Pedro Araújo has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy sector. Pedro started their career as an intern in production management at SML - Silvino Lindo in 2005. From 2006 to 2018, they worked at CAPA, S.A. where they held various roles including Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, and Production Manager. During their time at CAPA, S.A., they developed expertise in business development, sales, and project management in the photovoltaic industry. In 2019, Pedro joined Q CELLS as a Sales Manager and later became the Managing Director for Hanwha QCells Holdings Portugal. Pedro also served as the Business Development Manager for Portugal, focusing on green energy solutions. Currently, Pedro works at Q ENERGY Solutions SE as the Business Development Manager and Managing Director HoldCo Portugal, where they are responsible for portfolio development, business origination, M&A, and overall management of the company's projects in Portugal.

Pedro Araújo has a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their Master's Degree, they also completed a Master's program in Production Management at Chalmers University of Technology from 2003 to 2004. Prior to their Master's degrees, Pedro Araújo obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto from 1998 to 2002. Pedro has also obtained certifications in various fields, including Self-Consumption from SMA Solar Technology AG in 2014, and Maintenance of Photovoltaic Installations from Weidmüller Deutschland in 2013.
