Daniel Yu

Field Application Specialist, dPCR

Daniel Yu is an experienced scientist with a strong background in biochemistry, biophysics, and molecular biology. At Hunterian Medicine, Daniel led the development of multiplexed dPCR assays and directed CRISPR editing experiments with significant success rates. Currently serving as a Field Application Specialist for dPCR at QIAGEN, Daniel previously worked as a Clinical Laboratory Science Technologist III at Sanofi Genzyme, where skills in developing ELISA-based assays and supporting regulatory compliance were honed. Daniel's research experience includes a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University, where high-throughput functional assays for RNA variants were developed, complemented by custom Python scripts for NGS data analysis. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Biology, respectively, both from National Taiwan University.
