John Haley

John Haley has over two decades of experience in forensic science and project management, currently serving as the Global Project Lead for HID and Forensics at QIAGEN since October 2012. In this role, John manages large global projects, collaborates with technical and sales teams to explore new opportunities, and oversees product releases. John's previous positions at QIAGEN include managing the forensic business for the North West US and providing applications support across Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining QIAGEN, John worked at The Forensic Science Service, where responsibilities included leading a technical team for a significant DNA database project in the UAE and managing high-throughput laboratories in the UK. Earlier career experiences include a role as a Microbiology Supervisor at Youngs Bluecrest, supervising seafood testing. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Strathclyde.
