Laurent Moncomble is a seasoned professional in the forensic and human identification sectors with over two decades of experience. Currently serving as the Senior Market Development Manager for Human Identification and Forensics at QIAGEN since April 2010, Laurent is responsible for strategic planning and business development across Southern Europe and Africa. Previous roles at QIAGEN include Market Development Manager and Human Identity and Forensics Business Manager, where Laurent focused on regional business growth and support for emerging markets. Prior to QIAGEN, Laurent worked at Applied Biosystems from 2000 to 2010 in various support specialist roles, enhancing growth within the French-speaking forensic community. Laurent’s career began at the Human Polymorphism Study Center as an Engineer Assistant, providing essential sequencing and genotyping services. Laurent holds a specialized certificate in molecular biology and cell culture from Ecole Supérieure de Biologie et de Biochimie in Paris.
