Principal Scientist

Ryan Heller has a extensive work experience in the field of molecular biology and research. Ryan worked as a Principal Scientist at QIAGEN since April 2023. Before that, they served as an Associate Principal Scientist from April 2019 to April 2023, and as a Senior Scientist from April 2015 to April 2019 at the same company. Prior to their time at QIAGEN, they were a Lead Molecular Biologist at GE Global Research from October 2010 to April 2015. Ryan also worked as a Research Fellow at MIT from October 2006 to October 2010, and as a Research Associate at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center from August 2001 to October 2006.

Ryan Heller earned a BA degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from Boston University, which they attended from 1995 to 1999. Subsequently, they pursued a PhD in Biochemistry at Cornell University, completing their studies from 2001 to 2006.
