Alan McGinley

Application Support Team Leader at QIC

Alan McGinley has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Alan began their career at The University of Edinburgh as an Oracle Analyst/Programmer from March 1998 to July 1999. Alan then joined Brisbane City Council where they worked as a Systems Analyst from July 1999 to September 2001, and later as an IT Project Manager from October 2001 to November 2002. Alan returned to the role of Systems Analyst from December 2002 to August 2004. Alan then moved on to work for North Lanarkshire Council as an Oracle Developer from September 2004 to August 2005. Since July 2005, they have been associated with QIC, initially serving as a Senior Software Support Analyst until July 2015, and currently as the Application Support Team Leader.

Alan McGinley attended the University of Paisley from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a focus on Information Technology.
