Andrew Whittaker

Andrew Whittaker has several years of work experience in the finance industry. Andrew started their career as a Finance Analyst at QIC in November 2007 and worked in that role until August 2008. Andrew then transitioned to a role as a Money Market Analyst from August 2008 to January 2010, followed by a position as a Trader from January 2010 to November 2011. Andrew then became a Portfolio Analyst from November 2011 to January 2013 before taking on the role of Credit Research Analyst from January 2013 to July 2016. Andrew was then promoted to Portfolio Manager and held that position from July 2016 to October 2018. From October 2018 to December 2021, Andrew served as a Senior Portfolio Manager in Fixed Income & Insurance. Andrew then took on the role of a Senior Portfolio Manager in Multi Asset from January 2022 to December 2022. Currently, they hold the position of an Investment Director - Strategy & Implementation - State Investments at QIC starting from December 2022. Prior to their work at QIC, Andrew worked as a Graduate at Xstrata Copper from 2006 to 2007.
