Glen Byrnes

Glen Byrnes has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. Their most recent role is as a Senior Analyst – Natural Capital at QIC, where they assist in developing a new natural capital investment strategy and is responsible for financial models and managing agricultural businesses within the Natural Capital Fund.

Prior to QIC, Glen worked as a Finance Business Partner at Consolidated Pastoral Company Pty Ltd (CPC) and as a Consultant at Farm Management Australia. Glen also served as a Senior Investment Analyst at Elders Agribusiness Investment Group, where they provided analytic and operational support and worked closely with investors on investment strategies and asset portfolios.

Glen Byrnes completed their education from 1990 to 1995 at the Canberra Institute of Technology, where they obtained an Advanced Diploma of Business with a specialization in Accounting. Furthermore, in December 2021, Glen successfully completed the 5 Years of Professional Learning Program offered by the CFA Institute.
