Matthew Ball

Matthew Ball has a diverse work experience in the finance and investment sector. Matthew most recently worked at QIC as a Senior Investment Performance Analyst, where they started in April 2023. Prior to that, they were an Investment Performance Analyst at QIC from April 2021 to July 2023.

Before joining QIC, Matthew worked at U Ethical Investors as an Investment Analyst, specializing in Australian Equities from August 2018 to April 2021 and in Cash & Fixed Interest from May 2017 to August 2018.

Matthew's earlier experience includes roles at Bank of Queensland, where they worked as a Treasury Dealer in Money Markets from August 2013 to May 2017, and as a Treasury Operations Officer in Money Market Settlements from August 2011 to August 2013.

Matthew began their career at Morgans Financial Limited, where they worked as part of the Wealth Plus (Managed Portfolio Service) team with a focus on Margin Lending from August 2009 to August 2011.

Matthew Ball obtained a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Banking and Finance from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) between 2005 and 2009. In 2014, they completed a Diploma of Financial Markets at the Australian Financial Markets Association (AFMA), specializing in Foreign Exchange. From 2015 to 2020, Matthew pursued further education at Kaplan Professional, earning a Master of Applied Finance with a concentration in Investment Analysis.
