Melissa Howchin (Fehr)

Melissa Howchin (Fehr) has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Melissa is currently working as an HR Manager at QIC since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as a People and Culture Business Partner at Arrow Energy from November 2021 to September 2022. Melissa also worked at RACQ, where they held multiple positions, including Remuneration and Benefits Specialist from January 2021 to November 2021, HR Business Partner from April 2018 to November 2021, and Manager Risk and Financial Crimes (Secondment) from September 2020 to November 2020.

Before joining RACQ, Melissa gained experience at Deloitte Australia as a Senior Consultant - People & Performance from August 2017 to April 2018. Melissa also worked at AECOM, where they held various roles like HR Business Partner from January 2016 to August 2017, HR Coordinator from September 2015 to December 2015, Operations Manager from May 2013 to August 2015, and HR and Group Management Assistant from February 2012 to May 2013. Additionally, Melissa worked as an HR and Office Administrator at Future Quarry Resources from June 2011 to February 2012 and as a Paralegal- Superannuation & Disability Insurance at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers from February 2007 to June 2011.

Melissa Howchin (Fehr) completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy from Western University, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), completing their studies from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, Melissa obtained an Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management from KnowledgeAccess in October 2020. Melissa also obtained a Certificate IV in HR from the Australian HR Institute (AHRI) in 2014.
