Michael Bowden

Michael Bowden has over 26 years of experience in various roles within the finance industry. Michael started their career at QTC in 1994 as a Quantitative Analyst and later became a Team Leader in both the Middle Office and Quantitative Analysis departments. In 2008, they joined QIC where they held the position of Head Portfolio Manager until 2020. During their time at QIC, they also served as the Head of Asset Liability Management.

Michael Bowden completed their high school education at Downlands College from 1987 to 1991. Michael then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, majoring in Mathematics, from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) between 1992 and 1995. Later, Michael furthered their education by earning a Master's degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, which they completed from 2002 to 2004.
