Piedad Garcia

Piedad Garcia has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Piedad currently works as a Business Support Analyst at QIC since October 2021. Prior to this, they were a Quality Assurance Engineer at Spectrum Data Systems International from October 2019 to October 2021.

Piedad also gained experience as a Software Developer intern at JKMRC for three months in 2019, where they quickly became proficient in Python programming and utilized Git and object-oriented programming techniques to create a new graphing tool for the organization.

During their Master of IT studies, Piedad worked as a Personal Support Worker at Self Managed Found from January 2017 to June 2019, providing care and companionship to clients with disabilities. Piedad'sperformance led to increased hours from fortnightly shifts to 20 hours per week.

Before that, Piedad served as a Technical Support Trainer at Interactivo Contact Center from February 2013 to January 2014, where they improved the technical and soft skills of contact center agents providing support for Samsung products in Colombia.

Prior to their Master's degree, Piedad worked as a Technical Support Engineer at HNC Hardware & Software from November 2011 to December 2012, providing technical support to medical staff and applying networking knowledge to resolve network-related issues in hospitals.

Piedad's early career includes being a Field Engineer and Technical Support at INRED LTDA from February 2009 to February 2010. In this role, they supported the provision of internet connection to impoverished areas of Colombia, trained residents, and performed preventive and corrective maintenance on network devices.

Piedad Garcia has a diverse education history. Piedad started their educational journey at Universidad Popular del Cesar, where they completed a degree in Electronics Engineering from 2001 to 2008.

In 2015, Piedad pursued further studies in the field of Marketing at Queensland International Institute, where they obtained a Diploma of Leadership and Management. Piedad continued their marketing education at the same institution the following year and earned an Advanced Diploma of Marketing in 2017.

In 2017, Piedad decided to explore Information Technology and enrolled at CQUniversity. Piedad successfully completed their Master's degree in Information Technology in 2019.

In addition to their academic achievements, Piedad has also obtained a number of certifications. Piedad became a Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) and acquired the Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Certification in April 2021. Furthermore, they obtained Agile Foundations certification from Lynda.com in May 2019.
