Sarah Magoffin

Sarah Magoffin has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sarah'smost recent position is as Manager of Brand and Corporate Communications at QIC, a role they started in July 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Manager of Marketing and External Communication at QIC starting in October 2022.

Before joining QIC, Sarah worked at EY as a Manager of People Advisory Services from June 2021 to September 2022. Sarah also worked at Sunsuper as a Senior Internal Communications Specialist, a Business Change Communication Lead, and a Senior Communications Advisor from 2017 to 2021.

Sarah has also contributed to non-profit organizations, serving as a Non-Executive Director at the Working Against Violence Support Service from November 2017 to December 2018. Additionally, they held senior leadership roles at the Conexu Foundation as a Senior Corporate Communications Manager and a Corporate Services Manager from 2014 to 2016.

Sarah has been involved in the business communications field for many years, serving as Treasurer and Management Committee Member at Business Communicators Queensland from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they worked at the Australian Communication Exchange (ACE) as an External Communications Manager, a Marketing Communications Coordinator, and a Communications Admin Assistant from 2010 to 2014.

Sarah began their career as an intern at Southern Cross Austereo in 2008. Overall, Sarah has demonstrated a strong background in communications, marketing, and leadership across a variety of roles and industries.

Sarah Magoffin obtained a Bachelor of Communication in Public Relations from The University of Queensland from 2009 to 2011. Sarah later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Queensland, completing it in the years 2014 to 2017. In addition, they obtained a Certificate in Engagement from the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Australasia in 2011. Sarah also has a certification in Foundations in Public Participation, which does not have a specified year of completion.
