Wade MacRae

Manager, Global Infrastructure at QIC

Wade MacRae's work experience began in 2010 as an Undergraduate Accountant at PwC and lasted until 2011. In 2013, they joined PwC as a Graduate in Consulting and progressed to become an Associate in Consulting from 2014 to 2015. Wade then became a Senior Associate in Consulting from July 2015 to December 2015. From 2015 to 2017, Wade worked for the Queensland Government as a Manager in Infrastructure. Since March 2017, Wade has been employed by QIC, first as an Associate in Global Infrastructure from 2017 to 2020, and then as a Manager in Global Infrastructure from July 2020.

Wade MacRae obtained a Bachelor of Economics from The University of Queensland, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Wade later pursued further education, completing the Oxford Executive Finance Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and The Law and Economics of Mergers and Acquisitions program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2021. Additionally, Wade MacRae enrolled in the Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies Program at Stanford University School of Engineering, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In terms of certifications, they obtained Advanced Project Finance Modelling certification from Mazars in March 2018.
