Jose Manuel Carol

Jose Manuel Carol has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jose Manuel currently holds the position of VP de Business Development at Qida, a home-care company they joined in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Professor of Digital Business Plan in the Master of Digital Marketing & eCommerce at EAE Business School starting in October 2020.

From 2019 to 2022, Jose Manuel Carol served as the Director Operativo of BStartup at Banco Sabadell, where they were responsible for operational activities. Jose Manuel also held the role of Programme Manager & BStartup10 Director from 2015 to 2019.

Jose Manuel Carol founded Global LegalTech Hub in 2020 and served as its founder until 2022. Before that, they worked as a Strategy Consultant at Deloitte from 2014 to 2015.

In 2012, Jose Manuel Carol held the position of Manager of the Business Angels network at La Salle Technova Barcelona. Their role involved analyzing technological projects and providing support to entrepreneurs in their search for private capital.

As a co-founder of Nitefest, a web and mobile project focused on promoting nightlife events, from 2010 to 2012, Jose Manuel Carol gained experience in the entertainment industry.

Jose Manuel started their career as an Analyst of Corporate Finance at Solventis in 2010 and then worked as a Private Banker at Banco Urquijo Sabadell Banca Privada, S.A. from 2006 to 2008. In this role, they were responsible for advising and managing clients with a portfolio exceeding €500,000.

Jose Manuel Carol attended Escuelas pias de Sarria, although the start and end years are unknown. Later, they completed their diploma in Ciencias Empresariales at EAE Business School from 2000 to 2004. Between 2004 and 2006, they pursued a degree in Lincenciado en Investigación y Técnicas de Mercados at Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Finally, in 2008 and 2009, they obtained their International MBA from IE Business School.
