Kashfa Tahir has a diverse range of work experience dating back to 2014. Kashfa started their career as an HR Team Coordinator at Save the Children International from August 2014 to April 2015. Following this, they worked as a Development Officer at MECOPP from May 2015 to April 2016, where they led the MECOPP Climate Challenge Fund project. In 2018, they joined CodeClan to complete a professional software development bootcamp, where they learned object-oriented programming and test-driven development using languages such as Ruby, Java, JavaScript, and frameworks like React and Bootstrap. Kashfa then transitioned to a role as a Junior Software Developer at Zonal Hospitality Systems Inc. from June 2018 to October 2019. Currently, they are employed as a Software Test Engineer at QikServe starting from November 2019.
Kashfa Tahir completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology and Sociology from Napier University from the year 2001 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Counselling Studies from Edinburgh University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013.
