Alicia Nally

Alicia Nally is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as a Senior Communications Advisor and social media and digital marketing specialist at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since March 2023. Previously, Alicia worked with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from May 2020 to March 2023 in various roles, including Digital Journalist and Front Page Editor. Additionally, Alicia contributed to Women In Media as a Far North Queensland branch committee member from February 2018 to March 2023 and served as a board member for the Babinda Community Bank from June 2019 to May 2020. Alicia has extensive journalistic experience spanning multiple publications, including The Cairns Post and Quest Community Newspapers. Educationally, Alicia holds a Graduate Diploma in Journalism and a BA/BBus in Japanese, International Business, and Economics from Queensland University of Technology.
