Amy Stringer is a skilled data scientist and computational biologist with extensive experience in managing and analyzing complex datasets. Currently employed at WearOptimo and QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, Amy has developed a semi-automated pipeline to extract and preprocess neuro-imaging data from the UK Biobank. Previous roles include research assistant positions at QUT Centre for Data Science, QUT, the ARC Centre of Excellence for Mathematical and Statistical Frontiers, and the Global Change Institute, where contributions ranged from Bayesian statistical modelling to the development of automated reporting systems for coral reef surveys.
