Jane Farmer

Jane Farmer has over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. Jane currently serves as the Interim Chief Human Resources Officer at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since September 2020. Prior to this, Jane held various senior roles at the University of Southern Queensland, including Executive Director, Associate Director, Acting Executive Director, and Manager of Organisational Development and Equity. Their tenure at the University lasted from March 2000 to December 2019.

Jane Farmer earned a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) from the University of Southern Queensland in 1996. Jane later pursued a Master of Professional Studies at the same university starting in 2013. Additionally, Jane possesses several additional certifications, including a Certificate 1V Workplace Training and Assessment, DDI Accredited Facilitator, Fierce Conversations Accredited Facilitator, and MBTI type 1 and 2 Accreditation.
