Tash Jobson

Tash Jobson is a seasoned media and communications professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Media & Communications Adviser at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since August 2024, Tash previously worked as a Media Specialist at Elevate Communication. Over a span of more than a decade at Southern Cross Austereo, Tash held multiple positions, culminating in the role of Head of News Operations - Digital & Broadcast, overseeing a team of over 60 audio journalists. Tash's earlier career includes directorial positions at Open Universities Australia and instructional roles at Griffith University and Austereo. Tash holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications (Marketing and Journalism) from Griffith University and has completed several executive programs focusing on business administration, leadership, and frontline management.
