Dan Deguire

VP, Land Systems at QinetiQ North America

Dan Deguire leads QinetiQ Inc.’s, Land Systems, an integrated business unit focused on Unmanned Systems and Survivability Technologies. Since joining QinetiQ in 1990, Dan has managed and led teams of engineers and scientists in the research, development, and fielding of defense solutions.

Dan and has team have developed and delivered over 5,000 robotic systems ranging from 10-pound hand carried platforms to 20-ton armored vehicles. Dan and his team had also delivered 1,300 fixed-wing aircraft armor kits and 14,500 RPG defeat systems for ground vehicles, helping save the lives of many warfighters. They are instrumental in capturing many programs of record and are proud to serve customers with mission-led innovations.

Dan is an inventor and co-inventor on 10 U.S. Patents assigned to QinetiQ and has authored numerous technical papers presented at AUVSI, SPIE and NDIA. He holds a bachelor’s degree at Central New England College in Electrical Engineering and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Advanced Mobility Consortium.
