Chris Lyddon

Chris Lyddon has extensive experience in the defense and security sectors, currently serving as the Group Leader for Power and Research Facilities at QinetiQ since January 2000. Lyddon oversees a team of technical specialists focused on the Test, Evaluation, and advisory services for various power source requirements across land, air, and maritime domains. Additionally, Lyddon has held roles including Senior Consultant, Project Manager for the X-Net vehicle arrest capability, and Research Engineer for military vehicles, contributing to safety assessments and vehicle development projects. Prior roles at the UK Ministry of Defence and DERA involved providing engineering support and managing military vehicle research initiatives. Lyddon's educational background includes studies at Brooklands College and Guildford College.
