Christopher Dunlop

Christopher Dunlop is a Senior Maritime Structural Engineer at QinetiQ since November 2025, specializing in the conceptualization, design, verification, and support for structural engineering requirements. Previously served as Maritime Civil Design Manager at KBS Maritime, overseeing civil design for key maritime projects from concept to delivery while ensuring compliance with user and customer needs. Earlier roles include Discipline Design Manager at NIRAS UK, Marine Design Engineer at Intermarine Ltd, and Project Engineer focusing on marine structures, as well as experience with Kier Group as a Graduate Structural Highways Engineer. Christopher holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil Engineering from the University of Portsmouth, complemented by A Levels in Product Design, Mathematics, and Physics.
