Richard Pattenden

Richard Pattenden is a Principal CFD Engineer and Team Lead at QinetiQ, where responsibilities include overseeing projects since January 2010. Prior to this role, Richard served as a Senior CFD Engineer and Senior Engineer at CD-adapco from June 2005 to January 2010, focusing on testing and validating new functionalities in STAR-CCM+ and developing automated test scripts. Richard began his career as a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton from April 2003 to April 2005, conducting numerical modeling and experiments on fluid dynamics. Richard holds a PhD in Ship Science from the University of Southampton (1999-2004), an MEng in Ship Science from ENSTA (1997-1998), and another MEng in Ship Science with European Studies from the University of Southampton (1994-1998).
