Simon Scott-Douglas

Simon Scott-Douglas has over two decades of experience in engineering and technical management, currently serving as Principal Engineer (Mission Systems) at QinetiQ since May 2000. In this role, Simon oversees multi-discipline teams delivering specialist electronic warfare technical airworthiness and safety support to UK MOD customers, guiding projects through design, test, certification, and compliance processes. Prior to this, Simon held roles at Cobham as an Aircraft Maintenance Planner and Avionics Planning Engineer, and at the UK Ministry of Defence as an Electronic Warfare and Radar Trials Support Officer. Simon's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from The Open University, an HNC in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Salisbury College of Technology, and an avionics and electronics apprenticeship with the Ministry of Defence.
