Mary Sites

Mary Sites has extensive experience in education, currently serving as an English Second Language Instructor at Qkids since 2019, where Mary teaches Chinese and Turkish students online. Prior to this role, Mary worked as a Substitute Teacher for Maize USD 266 from 2019 to 2024, and served as the Head of Middle School at The Independent School in Wichita, KS, from July 2017 to June 2019. Additionally, Mary was a First Year Advisor at Southwestern College from August 2016 to June 2017, focusing on building relationships with freshman students to support their success. Mary spent over two decades as a School Principal in the USD 260 Derby School System, retiring in May 2016 but remaining energetic and eager to work. Mary holds a Master’s Degree in Education Administration & Supervision and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching, both from Wichita State University.
