Robert Scoffin

Robert Scoffin has over 30 years of experience in the life sciences industry. Robert began their career in 1991 as the Head of Collaborations at Oxford Molecular, where they created and ran a small team focused on 'embedded development' of innovative computational chemistry and cheminformatics tools. In 1997, they became the CEO of Biopharm Consultants Ltd. From 1998 to 2001, they were the Vice President of European Operations at CambridgeSoft Corporation, a privately held software and services provider to the life sciences industry. From 2001 to 2010, they were the CEO of Amedis, where they raised VC financing and developed cutting-edge computational ADME tools. In 2010, they became the CEO of Cresset Biomolecular Discovery Ltd, a leading provider of drug discovery software and services. Robert also became the CEO of Re-Pharm Ltd, a drug discovery spin-off from Cresset. In 2019, they joined Qkine as a Non Executive Director and in 2020, they became the Co-Chairman of Torx Software.

Robert Scoffin attended The City School, Lincoln from 1977 to 1983, where they earned their High School - O and A Levels. During this time, they studied A Levels in Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Physics. Robert then attended the University of Oxford from 1983 to 1991, where they earned their D.Phil in Chemistry.
