1961 ~ The first study on deuterium depleted water is published in an agricultural journal in Omsk, Russia.

1991-1996 ~ Romanian research scientists at discover how to remove deuterium from water, not knowing the health benefits that are to follow.

1998 ~ Gold Medal won for inventing the method and installation for obtaining water deleted of deuterium at the 47th annul World Fair for Innovation in Brussels.

1999 ~ The research institute in Romania starts selling a few tons of DDW per month to HYD LLC, a Hungarian company, which starts to comercialize it under the brand known as Preventa.

2000 ~ Gold Medal won for inventing the method and installation for deuterium deleted water production at the International Invention Fair in London.

2000 ~ Gold Medal won for inventing the method and installation for deuterium deleted water production by the Association of Hungarian Inventors.

2001 ~ Gold Medal won for the invention of distilled water with a reduced deuterium content at the International Inventors Fair in Geneva. 

2006 ~ Patent #121638 B1 is issued to Ioan Stefanescu and Gheorghe Titescu for the Process and Installation for the Production of  Deuterium Depleted Water.   

2006 ~ Cristian Mladin, CEO, Mecro System, acquires the DDW technology and all patents. A significant investment is made to increase the production capacity.

2008 ~ Mecro System launches Qlarivia, the first worldwide longevity water with 25 parts per million (ppm) content, which is six times less than the 150 ppm found in regular water.

2011 ~ Patent #129778 is issued to Mecro System SRL by the Romanian Patent and Trade Office for the Optimized Installation for the Production of Deuterium Depleted Water.   

2018 ~ Patent #1794084B1 issued to Mecro System SRL by the European Patent Office for the Process and Installation for Obtaining Deuterium Depleted Water.   

2018 ~ Qlarivia launches the blue label with 18 ppm

2023 ~ Qlarivia sells millions of bottles to consumers in 45 countries.
