Colm O Heigeartaigh

Colm O hEigeartaigh is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity, currently serving as a Senior Principal Product Security Engineer at Qlik since January 2024. Previously, Colm held various positions at Talend from November 2010 to March 2024, including Senior Principal Product Security Engineer, Principal Open-Source Security Engineer, Senior Security Architect, and CXF Architect. Prior to that, Colm worked at Progress Software as a Senior Engineer and Engineer on the Security Team, and at IONA Technologies as an Engineer on the Security Team. Colm co-founded Nore Technologies, where the focus was on developing mobile security applications using Identity Based Cryptography. Colm completed a Ph.D. in Computing at Dublin City University in 2007, preceded by a B.Sc. in Computing Applications from the same institution in 2003.
