Lauren Brown

Lauren Brown is a seasoned professional in operations and communications, currently serving as Senior Lead at Qlik since January 2021, having previously worked in various roles within the same organization. Additionally, Lauren is an Instructor in Brand Strategy at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, teaching courses in the Brand Management Graduate Certificate Program since August 2017. Prior experience includes roles at NAV CANADA as an Employee Communications Specialist and at Shopify, where Lauren held several positions including Community & Social Lead for Shopify Partners. Lauren’s early career features positions at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada and Environment and Climate Change Canada. Lauren holds a B.A. Honours in Communications from the University of Ottawa, a Master's in Communication from the same institution, and has pursued international studies in Organizational Communication, Marketing, and Public Relations at The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
