Mats Svensson

Mats Svensson started their work experience in 1996 as a Software Developer at Programbyrån AB, where they worked on software development in Microsoft Windows. From 1998 to 2006, they worked as a Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Field Application Engineer at Enea, specializing in embedded devices, telecom, aerospace, and automotive industries. Following that, they joined Konsultera-IT in 2006 as a Senior Consultant, focusing on software development and quality in the telecom industry. In 2012, Mats became a Team Leader in the Software Engineering Team at ST-Ericsson, where they mentored developers and worked on software engineering strategies. In 2013, they joined Qlucore as a Software Engineer, working on the development of desktop software for exploratory analysis of big data from the genetics domain. Currently, Mats is a PhD student at Blekinge Institute of Technology, researching software engineering and the Big Data aspect of software metrics and optimization, while on leave from their position at Qlucore.

Mats Svensson pursued their education at various institutions throughout their academic journey. From 1989 to 1992, they attended Malmö latinskola for their initial studies, though the specific degree and field of study are not provided. Subsequently, from 1992 to 1998, they attended The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Mats Svensson continued expanding their knowledge base by enrolling in Malmö University for an individual course focused on Leadership and Organization from 2012 to 2013.
