Srinivas Malipeddi

Srinivas Malipeddi has over 20 years of experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry. Srinivas is currently the Executive Director at QM Power, Inc. since 2022. Prior to that, they were the Product Margin & Growth Leader, Sr Manager at GE Transportation, a Wabtec company from 2018 to 2022. During this time, they accomplished product cost out and margin improvement initiatives in sourcing, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and finance, as well as led cross functional initiatives in product management initiatives for marine engine, mining, and locomotive businesses. Srinivas also enhanced profit margins by 12% by rationalizing sourcing strategy, consolidating part numbers, and simplification of designs. From 2001 to 2018, they worked for Caterpillar Inc. in various roles: Product Cost Manager for Electrical & Electronic Components and Cab Systems, Value Engineering, and VAVE; Procurement Manager-2, where they cooperated with suppliers to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance; Product Cost Manager for Cooling Systems and Heat Transfer Components; Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Strategy Manager, where they executed human resources (HR) strategies through 100 cross-functional DMAIC and DMEDI 6 Sigma projects; and Engineering Manager, where they managed highly skilled engineers and secured compliance of next-generation cooling designs with new regulations.

Srinivas Malipeddi is currently enrolled at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Srinivas previously attended Bradley University and the University of New Orleans, where they earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Srinivas also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad in Engineering.
