Julian Hawes

Julian Hawes has a diverse work experience. Julian is currently the Channel Director at Qmatic since September 2022, where they are responsible for managing the company's channel partnerships. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Qmatic from March 2020 to January 2023. In this role, they focused on providing solutions for queue management and wait time tracking. Before joining Qmatic, Julian was a Client Services Executive at the same company from August 2016 to February 2020. Here, they developed processes for contract management and business development.

In addition to their work at Qmatic, Julian has held several positions in other organizations. Julian served as the Treasurer for Buckingham United FC from May 2013 to July 2018. In this role, they implemented new accounting methods and reduced unnecessary expenses for the club. Julian also worked as a Business Development Manager and Sales Executive at LRI Education in 2016 and from November 2014 to March 2016, respectively. Julian was responsible for identifying opportunities and managing client accounts.

Julian's earlier roles include Account Manager positions at Matrix SPS from April 2013 to November 2014 and Matrix SCM from January 2012 to April 2013, where they focused on managing client accounts and developing purchasing practices. Julian also worked as a Supported Employment Co-ordinator at Milton Keynes Council from November 2010 to May 2011, helping young people find employment and training opportunities. Julian began their career with summer placements as a HR Project assistant at Media Measurement Limited in 2008 and as a Barman at White Hart Hotel in 2007.

Julian Hawes attended the University of the West of England from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business and History (Joint Award). In addition to their degree, they also completed the Single Sales Principle - ISM Accredited Programme from Lammore Consulting Ltd in March 2016.
