Murilo Almeida began their work experience in 2005 as a Business Analyst at Value Partners Management Consulting. Murilo then joined Telefonica in 2008, initially as a Consultant of Strategic Planning and later becoming the Manager of Strategic Planning. In 2011, they attended The Wharton School as an MBA candidate and completed their studies in 2013. Almeida then joined the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in 2013 as a Consultant, progressing to the role of Project Leader in 2015, and finally becoming a Principal in 2017. In 2019, they joined QMC Telecom Brasil as the Marketing, Sales, and Business Development Director, and since March 2021, they hold the position of President at the company.

Murilo Almeida completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2001 to 2005. Murilo then pursued a Specialization in Business Administration at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2008 to 2011. Later, they attended The Wharton School from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained their MBA in Business Administration.
