Paulo Rodrigues

Paulo Rodrigues is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in medical imaging and neurobiology. As Chief Technology Officer and CEO at QMENTA Inc since January 2013, Paulo leads the development of a remote medical image analysis platform that enhances diagnostics for brain diseases. Prior to this role, Paulo served as a research associate at IDLAB-UB, focusing on the intersection of virtual reality and neurobiology, and at EventLab Universitat de Barcelona, where virtual environments for psychological experiments were created. Paulo's earlier experience includes R&D software development at Quintiq and as a PhD candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology, specializing in Diffusion Tensor Imaging visualization. Paulo holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven and a licenciature in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Universidade do Minho.
