Jim Roberts has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology spanning over two decades. Jim started their career as a Software Engineer at Optimation, Inc. in 1996. In 1996, they transitioned to SCE Unlimited as an Information Technology Manager, where they designed and implemented a 100base Ethernet network and handled hardware and software procurement for the company. From 2000 to 2003, Jim worked as the Owner of JRX Consulting, where they were involved in enhancing existing programs, integrating databases, and converting database systems. In 2003, they joined Access One, Inc. as an Information Technology Manager, responsible for designing and managing the Windows 2003 Active Directory domain structure and providing support across multiple sites. Since 2013, Jim has been working at QMI Security Solutions, initially serving as an IT/MIS Manager and currently holding the role of MIS/IT Manager. In this position, they manage application development and network administration staff, oversees custom application development, implements SAP Business One ERP system, and supports virtual server environments.

Jim Roberts received their Associate's degree in Computer Science from Harper College, which they attended from 1992 to 1994. Jim further pursued their education at the College of Lake County, obtaining an A.A.S in Computer Science from 1994 to 1996.
