Murat Koraş

Murat Koraş has extensive work experience in the banking industry, particularly at Finansbank. Murat began their career at Finansbank in 1999 as a Specialist in the Department of Financial Control and Planning. After two years, they transitioned to the role of Assistant VP in the Strategy and Business Development Department. In 2005, they were promoted to Vice President of Retail Banking Analytical Marketing and Credits. Murat continued to progress within the company, becoming the SVP and Head of Retail Banking Analytical Marketing in 2008 and SVP and Head of Cards Portfolio Management and Analytics Department in 2009. Their responsibilities included managing customer experience, developing segmentation frameworks and strategies, implementing marketing campaigns, utilizing analytical marketing techniques, and overseeing CRM systems. In 2013, they were promoted to EVP and served as the Head of Payment Systems.

Murat Koraş has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi Üniversitesi, which they obtained in 1999. Following that, they pursued two Master of Science (M.S.) degrees, the first one in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi Üniversitesi from 1999 to 2001, and the second one in Computer Engineering from Boğaziçi Üniversitesi from 2002 to 2004. Lastly, in 2011 to 2012, Murat Koraş completed an Executive MBA program at Özyeğin Üniversitesi.
