Nick Osmond

Nick Osmond is the current Director of Business Development at Qnect. Nick has held this position since April 2021. Prior to this, they were the VP Sales and Estimating at Exact Detailing Ltd from February 2018 to April 2021. Nick has also been the Business Development Manager at Dowco Group of Companies from January 2012 to May 2016, and the Senior VP Business Development at Techflow Inc. from May 2016 to January 2018.

Nick has over 25 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. Nick started their career as a Piping Designer/Checker/Field Engineer at Titan Projects, Bechtel, SNC, Fluor, Petro Canada, Novacorp, and Gulf Canada from January 1983 to December 1988. Nick then became the President at Detailed Deisgn Drafting Services Ltd from January 1997 to December 2009. After that, they worked as a Piping Field Engineer at Fluor from January 1989 to December 1996.

Nick has a lot of experience in sales and business development. Nick has been able to help grow Exact Detailing Ltd by securing new clients and developing new business opportunities. Nick is currently doing the same at Qnect, where they are responsible for generating new business leads and partnering with other companies.

They are on a team with Laura Patrick - Office Manager & Logistics Guru, David Kowalski - Senior Account Manager, and Henry Lederman - EVP. Nick Osmond reports to Jeff Hausthor, COO & CTO.
