Prem Arora , PMP, SCPM®

Prem Arora, PMP, SCPM® has over 20 years of experience in the software industry. Theircareer began in 2000 at Infosys, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Theirresponsibilities included requirement gathering and development of software solutions for a US insurance company, as well as mentoring new hires in the insurance domain and leading a team to review the high-level design for any new feature development.

In 2004, they joined Microsoft as a Program Manager, where they were part of the core program management team that setup and grew the Windows Serviceability business in the Hyderabad center.

In 2007, they moved to Adobe, where they held three roles: Group Program Manager, Senior Program Manager, and Program Manager. As Group Program Manager, they drove challenging engineering efforts and strategic business initiatives for the Print and Publishing Business Unit, and owned critical dependencies and constraints while managing internal and external stakeholder management with executive visibility. As Senior Program Manager, they drove and managed multiple product development cycles using Agile frameworks, principles, and practices, and monitored the business side while helping define the long-term strategy for products. As Program Manager, they were responsible for program management of a line of products falling under Technical Communication, creating and tracking project plans to ensure all dependent teams worked in tandem, and delivering timely reporting and program status updates throughout the program duration.

In 2018, they joined Clearbridge Mobile as a Product Manager.

Currently, they are a Product Manager at Qnext, where they are building the flagship product "FileFlex", a first-of-its-kind Zero Trust Remote Data Access and Sharing Platform for Hybrid-IT Infrastructures.

Prem Arora, PMP, SCPM® holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, obtained in 2004, as well as a BE in Electrical from Delhi College of Engineering, obtained in 2000. Prem also holds an Advanced Project Management Certificate from Stanford University, obtained in August 2015, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
