Michael Garstka

Michael Garstka currently serves as the Head of Science at Qogita, a position held since October 2021. Prior experience includes internships at Airbus Group, Volkswagen AG, Neptun Werft GmbH, and Vattenfall Europe eG during various periods between 2010 and 2016, focusing on component loads and dynamics. Michael's academic background includes a DPhil in Optimization Algorithms from the University of Oxford, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering Sciences from the same institution. Additional studies were undertaken at the University of California, Berkeley, contributing to a solid foundation in engineering and optimization.
