Jason Hong

Jason Hong is a Professor at Carnegie Mellon University since 2004, engaged in research focused on mobility, privacy, and security. Additionally, Jason serves as a Professor at the School of Computer Science's Human-Computer Interaction Institute at the same university. Previously, Jason co-founded Wombat Security Technologies, where Jason held the position of CTO and served on the board of directors until the company's acquisition by Proofpoint in March 2018. Jason earned a PhD in Computer Science specializing in Human Computer Interaction from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
