Chris Nelson

Chris Nelson began their work experience in 1965 as a Radioman in the US Navy. Chris then worked as the Coordinator of Gifted Education/Coordinator of GHP Computer Department at the Georgia Department of Education from 1982 to 1996. Chris later held positions at QOMO HiteVision as a Sales Representative, One World School as an Instructor, Georgia Virtual School as an Instructor & Master Teacher, and Pinecrest Academy as a Technology Teacher. Chris'smost recent role was as an Instructor at One World School from 2013 to 2016.

Chris Nelson earned a Bachelor and Masters degree in Education/Teaching of the Gifted and Talented from the University of South Florida. This education was pursued from 1971 to 1978. In addition, from 1981 to 1991, Chris Nelson pursued an ABD (All But Dissertation) for an Ed.D (Doctor of Education) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at The University of Georgia. Furthermore, in May 2013, Chris Nelson obtained an Educator Certificate from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
