The idea for Qompyl started with a spark from our founder, Tyler Charton - and quickly became a shared conviction of our team. Like many self-starters, he spent years immersed in markets - books, charts, videos, and strategy breakdowns that played out like a chess game in his head. He kept seeing the same pattern: strategies built on “if-this-then-that” logic, each isolated, each powerful, but locked behind code or presented in ways that didn’t match how people actually think. That frustration became the inception of Qompyl.

With that, the team was formed.  After evaluating existing strategy builders on the market - they all came up short.  The tools were overly complex, lacking broker connectivity, real-world integration, or intuitive design. And most importantly, they lacked what matters most in trading: risk management and psychology. Without those, even the best strategy falls apart.

We were also struck by how much influence large institutions and well-known investors have on markets. A single comment from a billionaire or a shift in institutional buying could move prices dramatically - leaving everyday traders reacting too late. Without access to better tools, most people are stuck following headlines, buying on the highs and lows, and doubting their own decisions.

Qompyl is our answer: a code-free, intuitive way to turn ideas into executable strategies, test them against real data, and ground decisions in discipline rather than emotion or hype. It’s not about chasing the noise - it’s about building clarity, confidence, and access for everyone.
