Mohammad Ovais

Mohammad Ovais has extensive work experience in various leadership and managerial roles. In their most recent position as CEO/MD at Veraqor since March 2022, they focus on data, cloud, and AI. Before that, Ovais served as CEO of qordata from April 2016, where they specialized in data integration and analytics for the pharmaceutical, life sciences, biotech, and medical device industries. During their time with qordata, they also provided consulting services to help companies implement data-based decision making.

Prior to their role at qordata, Ovais was a Board Member at Entrepreneurs' Organization from July 2014 to June 2016. Mohammad played a key role in the organization's operations during this time.

In 2009, Ovais co-founded Streebo and served as the Managing Partner until March 2016. Mohammad emphasized a values-based approach and believed technology could improve human health through their work at Streebo.

Ovais gained experience as a consultant at Kalido from June 2006 to February 2010, initially starting as a Senior Consultant before being promoted to Principal Consultant.

Finally, Ovais began their career at Bowstreet, Inc (acquired by IBM) in 2000, where they held technical roles as both a Technical Lead and Technical Consultant.

Mohammad Ovais completed their education at Rice University from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. Prior to attending Rice University, they attended Karachi Grammar School from 1994 to 1996. Unfortunately, no degree name or field of study is provided for their time at Karachi Grammar School.
