Rutger Ploem

Rutger Ploem has worked as the Co-CEO of Qorium BV, a biotech company, since October 2016. Qorium BV specializes in developing a revolutionary raw material for genuine leather that is highly sustainable and minimizes the environmental impact of leather manufacturing and processing. Prior to this role, Rutger Ploem had a career in the leather industry since 1990, starting with a hide trading company and later working for Lederfabriek W. Ploem and Anytus.

Rutger Ploem pursued their education from 1987 to 1990 at W.G.R. Germany, specializing in Leather Technology. During this period, they completed a degree in Leather Technology, without any specific field of study mentioned.
